What is Infinidev?
Infinidev is a team dedicated to the development and maintanence of applications for iPhone. We are specifically interested in older legacy software and devices and have built an alternative for Cydia and the AppStore so older devices are once again getting new software. We Started out as a small group, amining to make perfect Cydia alternative. You may know us from Icy, the Cydia alternative created by Ripdev. After Ripdev broke up, we continued developing Icy for another 3 years. You may also know us from Lima, a safari-based Cydia alternative that gained widespead media coverage. We have also released a working version of Pakage, developed apps for System of a Down and Parkway Drive, and have built several tweaking applications for Mac OS X.
A lot has changed in 8 years, the original Infinidev team has moved on to full-time jobs or are working on other projects. Our goal has also changed. Before we wanted to make a Cydia alternative, however today, we are focused (However not exclusively) on Legacy iOS devices and Pilot Training Theory Applications. Our goal is to support devices and iOS versions, that Apple, and the majority of the Jailbreak community have long forgotten about.
About our development process: All our apps are developed in Objective-C. Until Apple drops absolute support for Obj-C, well continue using it to develop our Apps. The Source Code, or parts of, of certain apps is available, either with license, or not. Send us an email to learn more about obtaining (part) of our project's Source Code.
